Team Leader, Shipping and Receiving
Role and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Administrator, Building and Warehouse and the main responsibilities will be:
- Plan and manage all shipping and reception activities, and warehouse inventory management connected to the production site
- Manage staff by applying existing management practices (schedule, attendance, vacations, overtime, etc.) and those related to health and safety
- Empower employees to organizational and personal objectives
- Plan and organize activities related to order and delivery preparation, according to schedules and deadlines
- Participate in labor needs identification
- Actively participate in the preparation and shipment of pharmaceutical products
- Ensure all equipment and work tools are proper and adequate
- Maintain and update inventory, perform cyclical counts, carry out inventory adjustments and implement corrective measures, when necessary
- Maintain the integrity of data and transactions in the ERP management system
- Improve work methods and processes to contribute to the department’s efficiency and productivity
- Work with production, quality, planning and logistics teams, as required

Qualifications:
- High school diploma (DES), the DEP or DEC are assets
- Minimum 3 years of experience involving team supervision in a regulated environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Extensive experience with shipping and receiving tasks
- Experience in import/export
- Experience working in a regulated (GMP) and computerized (MRP / ERP) environment
- Knowledge and experience with an inventory system
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift heavy loads (25 kg)
- SIMDUT training and a valid forklift driving license
- Bilingual (French and English), oral and written, essential
