Technical Representative

Our client is a company specializing in environmental management, especially industrial cleaning, management of hazardous materials, recovery of waste oil, and contaminated site services, is currently looking for a technical representative for their waste oil recovery service.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Business Development, your main responsibility will be to represent the company’s waste oil department for the Est du Québec region, following up on services provided to existing clients and promoting services offered to target companies, all the while providing excellent customer service.

• Carry out any other tasks related to your duties.
• Cooperate with your sales department colleagues on a day-to-day basis;
• Establish professional relationships with the representatives of the company’s business partners;
• Meet with clients regularly, informing them of services offered and providing effective follow-up in order to get to know them and to gather information on target markets;
• Improve market penetration methods with new strategic plans and new programs;
• Evaluate client needs and expectations in order to establish a productive long-term business relationship;
• Plan the sales budget for clients in your sector;
• Work on developing the client base and retaining existing clients, as well as preparing service offers;
• Plan the marketing program for target clients for your area of activity;

Required qualification

• College diploma in a relevant field or a combination of relevant training and experience;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales/representation;
• Able to work individually; focused on results;
• Bilingual (French and English; a significant asset);
• Proficient with standard computer software.
