Technical Sales Representative (Automatic Building Regulation Systems)

Our client is an automatic regulation contractor in the field of commercial and institutional buildings. They are currently looking for a technical sales representative for their Montreal-area facilities.

Nature of position

Under the supervision of the management of the company, your job will be to work on the company’s business development and recognition on the market among engineering firms and other clients needed this kind of expertise.

• Achieve overall growth objects and implement strategies in order to do so;
• Meet with potential clients and carry out a certain number of calls on a daily basis;
• Promote the company’s products and services primarily to engineering consultants, but also to general contractors, building mechanical contractors, property owners, etc.;
• Provide primary technical support to the company’s sales team;
• Carry out technical presentations for engineering firms and other clients;
• Work on automatic regulation system design based on needs;
• Create blueprints for proposed designs;
• Write automatic regulation sequences based on proposed designs;
• Monitor the contributions of the various parties involved in the realization of projects;
• Carry out any other task related to your duties.

Required qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, college diploma in building mechanicals, or other relevant education and training;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and automatic regulation;
• Able to work autonomously, result-oriented;
• Bilingual (spoken and written French and English);
• Able to perform sales presentations for groups;
• Sales experience in the field of regulation and/or building mechanicals, as well as bilingualism (French and English) and proficiency with AutoCad are considered significant assets.
