Technical Service / Sales Support Coordinator (HVAC)

Our client, a company specialized in the manufacturing and marketing of high-quality heat exchange products, used for heating, ventilation and air conditioning of institutional, commercials and industrials building, is currently looking for a technical service / sales support coordinator.

Nature of position

In collaboration with the company management, you will have as main mandate to actively participate in the submission process for the differents products manufactured by the company, to ensure that the projects are well documented, in addition to providing technical expertise and support to the sales team by analyzing customer needs and specifications in order to configure and deliver equipment that meets proposals and meets expectations client and coordinate the activities of the technical department. As such, you will :

• Prepare and verify the submissions for standards and specials products (air conditioning) ;
• Analyse specifications, plans and schedules to provide a satisfying proposal according to the client's criteria ;
• Search for new suppliers, according to the demand ;
• Achieve the selections and shop drawings according to the client's criteria ;
• Follow up on submissions and advise sales managers of critical projects ;
• Produce and verify the documents required for the approval of clients, agents, and representatives ;
• Produce and deliver release documents for the design department such as: quotes, technical documents, schedule, order, product control provided by the customer ;
• Advise and provide technical design and manufacturing support to agents, representatives, or engineers in an efficient manner ;
• Communicate with departments to ensure that specifications and shop drawings are compliant ;
• Provide technical documents and operation and installation manuals ;
• Collect agent information to support sales managers ;
• Participate in sales meetings ;
• Coordinate the activities of the technical department ;
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, work methods and safety instructions ;
• Participate in research and development projects ;
• Optimize the submission process and the department's working methods ;
• Contribute with mission orientation, corporate business strategies and the engineering goals of the company ;
• Ensure compliances with deadlines for drawings, submissions, technical informations to differents clients and / or agents ;
• • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and the ones relatives to customers ;
• Perform every other duty compatible with your functions .

Required qualification

• Bachelor in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or any other relevant training ;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience ;
• Having knowledges in in ventilation and / or air conditioning systems ;
• Excellent knowledges in plans lecture ;
• Functional bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) ;
• Proficiency in MS Office suite ;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software will be considered an asset.
