Electro-mechanical Technician

At Aesus we design, fabricate, assemble, test and install packaging machinery (labelers, fillers, cappers, conveyors, turntables, etc.) for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and beverage industries to name a few.  The company brings together a dynamic team of 100 employees and is located in Pointe-Claire (Montreal).

We are seeking an Electro-mechanical Technician (Validation/Quality control Technician)

Main objective:

The candidate will work with the production (Mechanical Assemblers), the engineering department and the Projects Managers  in order to ensure that the machine that is delivered is what the costumer have purchased and meets their needs.

Requirements :

• DEP or DEC in Industrial Electronics, Electro-mechanic, Machinist, Mechanical Engineering (or any other similar degree or experience);
• Must have minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Must be an expert in mechanics and electricity;
• Must be able to understand mechanical and electrical drawings;
• Ability to work with a caliper and micrometer;
• Ability to think quickly and have good ideas how to resolve problems;
• Ability to work alone and as a team player;
• Be opened minded;
• Bilingual (French, English);
• Must have had experience with packaging machinery (asset).

Work conditions :

• Permanent position;
• Full time (40h/week). The candidate must have an open willingness to do overtime as needed;
• This position may occasionally require travel to clients depending on the needs of the department;
