Past experience with private label programs
Extensive knowledge of apparel design, garment construction, applied graphic processes and fashion lifecycle.
Creating an overarching trend, colour and key items board(s) for each private label business. Creating a clear concise edit/focus process for each program is important.
Manage the initiation process of your team’s techpacks for procuring the first proto samples as well as any external buyer requests for pre-production kits as requested by retailers.
Supervising key players on team to ensure all fits and customer standards are regulated.
Directly supervise a team of head designers and graphic artists.
Drive the business through coaching and mentoring your team to embrace and deliver your vision for each brand.
Manages the conceptual design and artistic development process for product development.
Works closely with the Merchandising team
Works closely with Merchandising, Quality and Sourcing teams
Manages and coaches the Design team
